Interfaith and Intra-cultural Understanding

The Jamiatu Muslim Mindanao is a recipient of the project funded by the Australian Embassy under the Strengthening Grassroots Interfaith Dialogue and Understanding (SGIDU) Program with the title “Fostering Interfaith and Inter-cultural Understanding in the Islamic City of Marawi City”.
The objectives of this project is to foster interfaith and intercultural understanding between the Muslim Maranaos and the Christians residing in the Islamic City of Marawi and its neighbouring municipalities in the Province of Lanao del Sur to advance the pursuit of peace in this part of Muslim Mindanao region
The proponent being an academic institution will spearhead and initiate the conduct of intra-faith dialogues among its secondary and tertiary Muslim and Christian students as well as selected student leaders from other schools in Marawi City.
